Annmarie works with clients at their pace and through the therapeutic process they begin to unleash the shame, destructive inner voices, and debilitating pain that are keeping the client from living a life of connectedness and joy. Her focus is to help people discover why they might be relating and behaving the way they are, and give them tools to create change, transforming their inner world and relationships. She considers it a privilege to be let into the client's journey, and it is Her goal to create a safe space where the client can feel comfortable exploring the concerns that led them to seek counseling. Drawing upon her extensive experience working in different settings, she has developed a profound appreciation for the power of narrative-focused trauma care. Annmarie acknowledges that everyone has experienced heartache and trauma, and she believes that redemption is possible–even in the face of betrayal, pain, abuse, and trauma.
